My 2nd self published book took me 2 + years to create. It was one of the most fun projects I have ever done! It is a book aimed at readers from mid grade up. each letter has it’s own story told in almost total alliteration, with many unusual words to add to a growing vocabulary!

In my family, we love books. Growing up in the 50’s , getting my first library card at the age of 5, was so exciting for me, and when we moved to a bigger city when I was 7, my weekly visits to their children’s section, were a highlight of my week. My grandmother as well as my mom, read constantly, to themselves and to us, and us kids read to each other. Even now, with books supposedly losing their appeal, my family loves books! It was a natural thing for me to want to make some.

this is the picture from the B page. Can you imagine what it says?

This book is wonderful for early readers who also enjoy the process of adding their own ideas for the colors. It also has 2 pages of drawing an thinking activities in the back

Thi little, 24 page story book is also a coloring book. It tells the almost true story of my grandson’s rescue cat, Kiki. Kiki was found bandoned on the streets of Brooklyn, ny

On the left is a picture of Theo with Kiki a few years later, and on the right is my great niece Elli with her expertly colored page from the book!
